About

ARTIST STATEMENT

When the skin you live in tightens too much around your bones, you become uncomfortable with yourself. When this happens, you revert to your most primitive state- once again seeking solace in the safety of nature. You look at the complexity of the night sky and the simplicity of flowing rivers, you may be awed at the way such a world burdens your existence. This is for the times I felt my skin tightening too much.

My work features the intersection where interpersonal relationships and self-introspection collide with nature, inviting the viewer to question how geographical locations trigger human emotions. While I use a variety of mediums, I seek to never overlook the everyday occurrences in life.
